This notice applies to idea submitters, founders, nonprofit leaders, educators, researchers, technologists, students, community leaders, partners, mentors, collaborators, donors, advisors, and anyone who contacts Chua Global Impact Lab or the Daniel & Joy Foundation.

Depending on your interaction with us, we may collect:

- Managing review, selection, partnership, or support processes

Idea submissions and uploaded materials
Information submitted through ChuaGlobal.com will be used to review the idea, understand the problem being addressed, assess the proposed solution, and consider whether further conversation, support, mentorship, partnership, or introduction may be appropriate.
Submission of an idea does not guarantee funding, partnership, mentorship, introductions, or follow-on support.
Confidentiality of submissions
We will handle submitted materials with care. Access to idea submissions and uploaded materials will be limited to authorised persons involved in reviewing, advising on, or administering the Lab’s work.
Please do not submit highly confidential, proprietary, or sensitive information unless it is necessary for us to understand the idea. If a deeper review requires confidential information, a separate agreement may be discussed where appropriate.
Disclosure of personal data
We may disclose personal data and submitted materials only where reasonably necessary, including to:
- Authorised Foundation or Lab reviewers
- Advisors, mentors, or partners involved in reviewing or supporting submissions
- Service providers who support website hosting, forms, email, cloud storage, file uploads, or administration
- Professional advisors where needed
- Public authorities or regulators where required by law
We will not sell personal data.
International handling of information
Because Chua Global Impact Lab has a global outlook, personal data and submitted materials may be reviewed or processed by authorised persons or service providers located outside Singapore where this is reasonably necessary for the Lab’s work. We will take reasonable steps to ensure that personal data continues to be handled with appropriate care and protection.
